Musk lowering the price of the Tesla Model S in response to competition

In response to Lucid Motors pricing of their Lucid Air, Elon Musk announced that he’s dropping the price of the Tesla Model S.

That new price? $69,420. Because he has the maturity of a 12-year-old boy.

The Model S currently is priced at $71,990 before the destination and handling charge. For comparison, the base Lucid Air starts at $69,990 after the $7,500 tax incentive. Tesla no longer has the Federal Tax Credit available on its vehicles.

You should be able to order the 402 mile range, all-wheel drive Model S at the new price starting sometime tomorrow, October 15th.
