According to John Roth, vice president of Global Cadillac, the V-Series represents Cadillac’s commitment to engineering excellence, which the LYRIQ-V enhances in the electric vehicle segment. The LYRIQ-V is designed to provide a high-tech driving experience while maintaining the brand’s performance heritage.
The vehicle is estimated to deliver 615 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque, achieving a zero-to-60 mph time of 3.3 seconds, making it the fastest Cadillac to date. It features a sophisticated exterior and interior design, along with a Competitive Mode that enhances traction management for improved agility.
Production of the LYRIQ-V is set to begin in early 2025 at General Motors’ Spring Hill Manufacturing plant in Tennessee, with availability in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and other markets to be determined later.
The LYRIQ-V emphasizes a smooth and precise driving experience through its Continuous Damping Control and a lowered multi-link suspension. The vehicle’s dual motor all-wheel drive contributes to its performance capabilities, supported by a 102 kilowatt-hour battery pack that offers an estimated range of 285 miles.
Additional features include V-Mode for performance customization, a unique sound experience, Launch Control for rapid acceleration, and standard Super Cruise, which provides hands-free driving assistance.
The exterior design of the LYRIQ-V includes distinctive elements such as a unique front fascia, available carbon fiber accents, and 22-inch wheels. The vehicle will be offered in various colors, including an exclusive option, Magnus Metal Frost.
Inside, the LYRIQ-V boasts advanced technology, including a panoramic glass roof, a 23-speaker audio system, and a 33-inch LED display. The interior features are designed to enhance the performance image, with specific customization options and quality materials.
The starting MSRP for the LYRIQ-V is $79,990, which includes destination fees but excludes taxes and dealer charges.
