Ram has announced that customers can now configure and price the Ram ProMaster EV cargo van on the official website, allowing them to connect with their preferred dealer to complete their purchase. The 2025 Ram ProMaster EV represents a significant advancement in the brand’s electrification efforts, aimed at providing customizable options for commercial clients.

Tim Kuniskis, CEO of the Ram brand at Stellantis, emphasized the flexibility of the ProMaster EV, which is designed to meet the needs of various business sectors, including home delivery, construction, and IT services. The vehicle features front-wheel drive and a low step-in height, enhancing its usability in diverse applications.

The starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the 2025 Ram ProMaster EV cargo van is set at $56,495, with an additional destination charge of $1,995. This model is specifically engineered for electric operation, featuring a unibody construction that integrates the battery pack efficiently, making it suitable for commercial tasks.

Scheduled for dealership availability in the second quarter, the ProMaster EV is the brand’s first fully electrified vehicle, offering a targeted range of up to 164 miles on a single charge. It comes equipped with a standard 110-kilowatt-hour battery pack, ensuring both efficiency and performance.

Two configurations of the cargo van will be available, including a 12-foot and a 13-foot cargo length, both with a 159-inch wheelbase. The ProMaster EV cargo van can handle a payload of up to 3,020 pounds, while the step van configuration supports 2,876 pounds before options and upfit. The electric drive module provides 268 horsepower and 302 lb.-ft. of torque.

The step van model has a new starting MSRP of $69,995, also plus destination charges, and features enhancements such as a no-charge Safety & Convenience Group and an increased city range of 180 miles, adding value for commercial users. The battery is located under the vehicle’s floor, preserving cargo volume comparable to traditional internal combustion engine models.

Ram’s product lineup includes a variety of pickups and commercial vehicles, such as the Ram 1500 and the ProMaster vans. The brand is also introducing the 2025 Chassis Cab line, which includes improvements aimed at benefiting customers and upfitters. Ram continues to focus on enhancing its commercial offerings and support systems to bolster its position in the market.

Overall, Ram is committed to maintaining competitiveness and growth while expanding its electrified vehicle options, supported by the global presence of the Stellantis Pro One commercial vehicle organization, which encompasses a wide range of products from compact pickups to larger chassis cabs and ProMaster vans.
