Tesla shuffles pricing of various models

Overnight, Tesla adjusted pricing on some of its models. The price adjustments vary from as little as $500 to as much as $10,000. Here’s what we know.

The Model Y Long Range is now starting at $49,990 before destination, which represents a $1,000 increase. The Model 3 Standard Range Plus is up $500 to $37,490 before destination. The Long Range AWD version of the Model 3 also jumps $500 to $46,490 from $45,990.

In Model S land, the ultra high performance Model S Plaid Plus jumped from $139,990 to $149,990. That price is also before destination and handling.

Since Tesla no longer maintains a press office we can’t reach out for comment, so we’re not sure if you preordered a Model S Plaid Plus would you still get it for the $139,990 price, but in the past the company has honored reserve pricing when there was an increase.

Pricing is effective now, and cars are shipping anywhere from 1 week to 10 weeks.
