Redesigned 2026 Solterra adds power, range, and tech

Subaru announced pricing for the all new 2026 Solterra EV, arriving at retailers this fall with more power, increased range, and upgraded tech. The entry price remains $38,495. Every model includes Symmetrical All Wheel Drive, a suite of EyeSight driver assistance features, and an all new 14 inch Subaru Multimedia System with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The lineup spans Premium, Limited, Limited XT, and Touring XT. New XT trims use uprated dual motors for a combined 338 horsepower and a sub five second 0 to 60 mph sprint. Premium and Limited deliver 233 horsepower. A new 74.7 kWh lithium ion battery targets up to 288 miles of range with standard all wheel drive, adds battery preconditioning for optimal fast charging up to 150 kW, and pairs with an 11 kW onboard charger for quicker home charging. All models feature a North American Charging Standard port.

Chassis and platform updates bring enhanced rigidity, retuned suspension and steering, and improved all wheel drive control, with X MODE Dual Mode, Grip Control, and Downhill Assist. Exterior changes include a new lighting signature, revised front and rear designs, and newly designed 18 and 20 inch wheels. Inside, a bright cabin centers on the 14 inch touchscreen, expanded storage, and available panoramic glass roof on Touring XT.

MSRP highlights: Premium $38,495; Limited $41,395; Limited XT $42,895; Touring XT $45,555, with a Black + Blue Leather option at $45,855. Premium paint is $475, two tone paint is $495, and both combined are $970. Customers receive up to 10 days of Subaru Just Drive Rental at no charge. The 2026 Solterra EV is assembled in Japan.
