Volvo has introduced the new EX30 Cross Country, a fully electric SUV designed for outdoor enthusiasts. The vehicle was unveiled during a winter event in northern Sweden, emphasizing its suitability for various weather conditions and terrains. The EX30 Cross Country builds upon the existing EX30 model, enhancing its capabilities for those looking to venture beyond urban environments.
The SUV features a higher ground clearance and larger wheels, including an optional all-terrain tire, to facilitate travel over rough terrain. It is equipped with all-wheel drive, enabling it to handle challenging conditions. The EX30 Cross Country is also designed for urban use, with fast charging capabilities that allow for a 10-80 percent charge in approximately 26 minutes.
Aesthetically, the vehicle incorporates elements that reflect its rugged nature, including a unique front design inspired by the Kebnekaise mountain range. Additional features, such as skid plates and wheel arch extensions, enhance its outdoor readiness.
Internally, the EX30 Cross Country maintains functionality with ample storage options and advanced technology. The sound system has been integrated into the dashboard, freeing up space in the doors. A versatile storage tunnel offers convenience for passengers, while the glove compartment is easily accessible.
